Michelle completed her yoga teacher training at the Health Advantage Yoga Center in Herndon, Virginia. More recently, she completed the Level I and II iRest Teacher Training Programs offered by the Integrative Restoration Institute in Northern California. Honing her focus on mindful movement and meditation, in 2017 Michelle completed the Year of Living Mindfully program offered by the Insight Meditation Community of Washington’s senior teacher Jonathan Foust. She also participated in the Teacher Development Intensive for the Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction Program created by Jon Kabat-Zinn at the University of Massachusetts. Michelle continues to study regularly at the Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health where she became certified to teach Trauma-Sensitive Yoga.
